so, in these two pictures i like certain things. in the first, i like how her bangs are. and in the second, i like how her hair is parted. how can i get my bangs like that and part it that way? i usually trim my own bangs because i don't always want to go to the hairsalon so many times.

Don't cut straight across. Use point cutting. The part is with the use of styleing products.
