I'm 34 and just went through a divorce, now I'm faced with the dating scene for the first time in 10 years. Where are some good places to meet women besides bars? What are single women in their mid-30s looking for in a man? Oh - here's some info about me.

2 kids who don't live with me

Good job (not filthy rich, but able to enjoy life)

6'3" - 200 lbs

Green eyes, black hair

If I were you, I would just let it out to several of my trusted friends or coworkers that you are interested in getting into dating again...and I am sure just about everyone you know, knows a single woman who is dating also.

I'm not going to lie to you and say that the dating scene will be easy. It's just what you make of it. In my opinion the best way to meet someone is to find what it is that you love to do. If you like a certain sport, look for a coed team. If you like art, get involved with the arts..etc. That way you will already have a major interest in common and you will be sober, so no beer goggles or incoherant thoughts passed on! haha :) I hope this helps! do u play any sports? golf- tennis?

do u take your kids to any of their sporting events? there are lots of singles out there. u have to let people know u are available
