tangle is key.....
lots of hair spray.... make sure your hair is abotu the same length at the top....
experiment, i'm sure you'll get it.

i think if you have short hair its easier to do so im guessing some extra hold gel and hairspray

it doesn't matter if you're a girl or not, just proper length and a strong enough gel should suffice

You'd probably have to blow dry it in the opposite direction and use some pretty good gel. I use Bed Head gel called Manipulator. It's pretty expensive but it works really well. I have short hair and I spike the back up. This is the only stuff I've tried that works.
