Confusion about straighting natural black hair. Please help?

Ok for awhile now ive been really intersted in scene hair. I have natural black hair (afro). Once its the appropriate length, im aware ill need it to be straightend. I know about using relaxers, but im unclear about the other methods. Are their any other methods I can use to get my hair straight but NOT permanately straight?

Hey..there are many ways to straighten your hair non permanently...

1. You can get a perm, but do not add the activator to the perm...The activator is what makes it permanet. I have naturally curly hair..and when I want my hair straight...I just add the perm without the activator...

Once you do it...U can use a straightening iron to get the kinks out (of there are any)

2. You can always use the good old fashion Hott comb...if you want it to last...wrap your hair at night and stay away from water... :0) abd humidity if you can..hehe

You can use a hot iron. After shampooing it reverses. But best check with a hairdresser to do the job.

There are two ways to do this, my friend. You can stick your fingers into any electrical outlet or consult with your barber or a barber who is familiar with applying chemicals that will give your hair texture and curls without being completely straight. I suggest the latter.

Dude, to look like reg88 you'll need a hair straightener. (Flat iron) His hair is super shiny and the only way I know of is to use a flat iron.
