How to be 'scene'?

Okayy, I know this is dumb, but each year me and my friend choose a style.

Last year I chose 'emo', so my hair's barely to my shoulder, thick, and naturally wavy.

My closet already has some dark clothes

I'm skinny and about 5'3, I want just past shoulder hairstyles..?

Does anyone have any ideas for outfits, makeup, hair, and I heard scene kids get 'scene' names- mine's Keely, etc?

Eveeeeryone is going to call you a poser, but I'll give you a hand anyway.

For outfits, sticking to black is not a good idea. Incorporate lots of colours, neon even. Patterns such as leopard or zebra skin also work. Kooky, cute old school cartoon merch are a winner. Add some plasticy beaded necklaces and kiddy clips and bows. For makeup, have fun. Fake lashes, thick eyeliner and some bright eyeshadow. For hair, big at the top with straight extensions either in black, stripes (coontails), leopard spots, different colours or a funky blonde. Keep it choppy at the top.

If your hair is wavy you MUST invest in a wicked straightener. Waves are never okay when it comes to being scene.

As for a 'scene' name, it's really all about myspace (which you have to have). Alliteration helps. So maybe Keely killer? Other ideas are Keely Horror, Dior, Danger, Gore, Murder etc.

Wow you sound super poserish. Just be yourself. Scene kids don't have "Scene" names, only idiots like Kiki Kannibal do that. Emo and Scene are supposed to be the same thing. If you really wanna know so bad look it up on google, I'm sure their will be alot of idiots who will help you fill your sterotype quest.

keely is a cute name dont change it. scene kids like dinosaurs and hello kitty and bows, so wear alot of those. they are also very into accesories. do like a bob with bangs if you have the face for it with your hair.
