How to grow out choppy scene hair?

I have really choppy "scene" hair, with some of the layers as short as an inch from my scalp. I want to grow out my hair to my but and get rid of all the layers, as of now the longest layer I have is about to my shoulder.

How can I grow it out, it is really damaged. Does horse shampoo really work?

Thanks!

and how long will it take?

How to grow out choppy scene hair?

hey i know a lot of people answered this.. but firsthand experience.. the SAME EXACT thing happened to me..

i used to dye and cut my hair soo much,.. i actually had hair as short as one inch from my scalp also.. my hair was SO brittle and damaged it was unbelievable (i can show you a pic- it was horrribleee)

well anyways, so i went to a new salon that was really nice.. they gave me hair treatments and stuff

and i know this may be hard but you should stop straightening it for a while that really helps

so this was probbaaly about the beggining of last year.. i pretty much didnt straighten it until about september... and my hair was past my shoulders..

but now i cut it again because that hair was still kind of thin so now that my hair is healthier than before it looks so much nicer and im starting over (:

It will take a while, if the shortest layer is an inch from your scalp, no less than a few years.

you can only wait for it to grow,

take vitamins daily

and ponce or twice a month go in and get the bottom layer trimmed, so that the shorter layers will grow in faster.

in the mean time to detract from the fact that your hair is like this, use a curling iron

You need to use a shampoo and conditioner made for damaged hair. It won't make it grow any faster but it will keep you hair from getting damaged any worse. so it will grow in healthy.

Right now I am using herbal essence long term relationship and it has actuall done wonders for my hair. I use the shampoo, conditioner and the leave in conditioner. My hair is really curly and gets damaged really easily because my hair is dry and I heat style a lot so it's really done a lot for my hair to feel normal again. good luck!
