How do I make my hair stay poofy?

I have a lot of layers (scene hair) and I tease it after putting garnier hairwax in it and then finish off with garnier hairspray. My problem is, that the poofyness lasts for like an hour (plus I have to walk a while to my bus in the morning and the wind isn't very helpful) and then it goes flat. How can I make it stay poofy?

There is a product called DAX, it's about $3 at most grocery stores in the ethnic hair section. My hair is fine and super straight. This is the only product I have found that does not make my hair go flat or look limp and oily.. it really works. Just put a small glob on your finger tips and put it where you want/ various places all over your head. I use it for texture and piecey messy look. It stays all day. occasionally i re-plump with my fingers. If you want something else there is a hairspray called glue or cement or something like that,I know the boys at school used for Mohawk day. Don't use the hair wax that is waying down your hair. Your better off to put mousse in your hair. Blow dry your hair upside down which will help give fullness. If you have to use wax only use it on the ends of your hair not the roots.

After getting out of the shower, let your hair natrually dry untill it is damp. Then flip your head upside down and blowdry your hair while your head is flipped. Then after the bottom is dry flip your head right side up and blowdry the front. spray your hair with hair spray and it will stay. Mine stays even if I sleep with it like that
