Becoming A Scene Girl?

Okay, so I really want to become a Scene girl, but I have a few problems. I hear you need peircings, multi-colored hair, and a Sidekick. I'm not allowed to get any peircings until I'm 16 or 17 (other than my ears), I can't dye my hair multi-colors, bleach it, or dye it black, sadly, and my parent's would never get me a Sidekick. I refuse to wear hair extentions, because I think they're discusting. Could I still become Scene even if I don't have those features? I can pull off everything else: hairstyle, clothing, make-up, and so on. And can anyone give me some tips on being Scene? Anything will be helpful.

And, also, I really want to get some of my friends to do the whole Scene thing as well. How should I talk them into it? I don't want to force them into doing it if they don't want to, but I really want them to think about it. Most of them don't know what Scene is though, and I only have one friend who is dying to become Scene, just like me.

Thanks anyone that helps out!

Well If It's Glue In Extensions That You Think Are Disgusting Try Clip In Ones, They Don't Damage Your Hair And Are Easily Taken In Or out. You Don't Have To Have Coloured Hair To Look Scene, If You Want You Could Try Wash In Wash Out Colours In Your Hair On Blocks And Steaks, Although It's Not Entirely Necessary To Have Colours In Your Hair. Straight Hair Is Very Popular In Scene Culture, And Short Choppy Layers Too.

As Far As Makeup Is Concerned Bright Eye shadows And Dark Eyeliner Is A Must, Try Bare Coloured Lips And Bright Blush Also. MAC Is A Great Brand For A Wide Range Of Colourful Cosmetics.

Scene Fashion Is Very Excessive And Colourful, Anything Acessories From Hello Kitty And Gloomy Bear Are Good. Skinny Jeans, Big Shades, Leapord Print, Lots Of Colourful Jewelery, Bows, Converses, Vans Slip-ons Etc.

Also Many Scene Kids Have Myspace, For Networking And Making Themselves E-Famous. Pictures Of Themselves Are Usually From Angles Colourful And Sometimes Photoshopped To Get Rid Of Flaws.

Hope Ive Helped =] x

Becoming A Scene Girl?

not really..............but y would u want 2 anywhase?!?!

Becoming A Scene Girl?

you dont have to have peircings, muliticolored hair or a sidekick!I am scene and really if u can pull off all u say u can u could be a really good scene!Dont worry about what they all say u can be it without any of that stuff u say u can have.Yeah peircings can help, multi colors look better...and sidekick is an amazing phone but really hair, makeup and cloths are most important!

With the friends take them shopping buy them some stuff. If they like it they will come around!

Becoming A Scene Girl?

Okay calm down..... i wouldnt recommend u to CONFORM 2 scene okay....... but u can cut yuor hair scene style..... believe me all u need is 2 know the music.....but please dont become scene become punk and i mean old school 70's punk listen 2 the Ramones, The dead kennedys, sex pistols...but that is if u like fast raw real punk

Becoming A Scene Girl?

awsome! :) me and my best friend are also on that road. hehe. well, you dont need a sidekick. but you DO need a phone that can text/take pictures/call. duhh. you also need a digital camera. scenekidz tend to be a little on the concieted side, take pics left and right of themselfs. i love that. ehmm...a MUST is skinny jeans, band tees, bow clips for your hair, thick eyeliner, assorted flatz. welcomeMUCH.

Becoming A Scene Girl?

look at the scene queens/myspace queens. Hannah Beth doesn't have colorful hair, Kiki Kannibal doesn't have a sidekick, PlasticEmmi doesn't have piercings. See, u don't need to follow the trend just do it ur own way.

Becoming A Scene Girl?

Why would you want to be a scene girl anyway? No point in fitting in. Be individual and act your own way, rather than looking like someone else because you think it's cool.

Becoming A Scene Girl?

ok here's the thing.

being scene is all about doing your own thing. NOT following others. and you don't HAVE to get your friends to become scene either. I have the same thing with the whole sidekick %26amp;%26amp; piercings problem, but I still make it WORK. Skinny jeans, random (NOT PREPPY-hollister,aero,a%26amp;e, ect.) t-shirts, big jewlery, screamo music, blah blah blah. Just remember to NEVER call yourself scene. EVER. you can think it, just dont say it. And FYI, you will (not probably, i mean WILL) get called a poser, get made fun of and crap like that. ignore it. scene is all about being yourself. it will be hard getting used to and people probably will not like it, but thats THEIR opinion. you see these idiots posting "why do you want to be scene?" or "dont do it!" are dumb and are just like everyone else.

try this site...

You'll want to try this website: http://www.ft6.us.tc/

They sell authentic hair extensions with stripes made from real human hair. I buy all my hair from there!

They have a lot of colours to choose from and it's only $12.99 for 6 pieces!

clip in coon tail striped hair extensions are best because-

- you don't ruin your hair with dye

- they don't grow out

- you can put them in and take them off

- they can last you forever

- they're cheap

- they look like the real thing

- they wont go all frizzy and weird like real hair does when it's dyed, it'll just look like part of your hair.

- You can change your look really easily

-won't go against any school or work dress codes as you can take them out!

Becoming A Scene Girl?

I wouldn't become scene. You'll look scary and weird. People will judge you and talk about you. You can't change who your friends are either. The people who "become" scene because they think it "cool" are posers. Bye!
