Uh, I can tell you're trying to take scene pictures, but if you don't look scene it won't work. I recommend cutting your own hair in very short layers, blow drying and straightening it, then backcombing it at the roots, spraying the roots, and finger combing it down. Add a bit more hairspray, then put some gel on your fingers and work it through the very top short layers. It works well for me. Also, if you can, pick up a pack of sharpies and apply random colors.
