I'm thinking about going and getting a peacock in a few days but I have a few questions!
1. What is it going to look like when its down? Without teasing/backcombing it?
2. I have pretty thin %26amp; flat hair, but I'm getting extensions do you think that will be fine?
I want it to look like this http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u248/...
(not the color, im just talking about how it's cut)
%26amp; no I don't care if you dont like it, and NO I AM NOT "SCENE", but yes I do like that hairstyle. I'm only asking the people that have that hair.

i have extensions, and i'll tell you if you plan on ratting them you are shitt out of luck. if you rat them they'll get soo messed up and gross looking and probably fall out. i would suggest trying not to rat them as much as possible or youll be sorry you paid so much just to destroy them

teasing the top of your hair will be fine as long as you dont do that to the extensions.
I really like that haircut... though scene hair looks like its hard to upkeep just because there is so much work that goes into it. I think its very glam... but just be prepared for the upkeep. Without teasing it I dont think that look will be very flattering...

Your hair will look like a mullet if you get super short layers and you dont make it big. This hair requires a lot of maintenance and in order to maintain or achieve this look you must invest and only use expensive hair products other wise your hair will be a disaster. If you get big sexy hair spray get play hard not play harder because its impossible to brush the knots out of your hair.

Well, I just got a "scene" haircut today. When you don't tease it, it looks like a mullet...that is true, but it really does look great when you maintain it. If you feel lazy one day just stick it up in a ponytail.

I used to have that hair %26amp; it was hard upkeep for me. It would never stayed teased for more than two hours. I have pretty thin hair but I have a lot of it. It would flatten quickly because I have flat hair as well. I then realized that my layers weren't short enough on top so I went back to my hair stylist %26amp; got them cut shorter. So my advice for you is, get really short layers, use a lot of hairspray, %26amp; tease a lot. As for what it looks like when it's not teased, it just looks like chunky layers, it actually looks really cute. I think left it non-teased more than teased when I had that hair. Hope I helped. :)
